Where to Eat Before a Fresno Grizzlies Game: Kocky's Guide

Location matters when you're trying to beat the parking rush. Kocky's is located in downtown Fresno near Chukchansi Park, so you can park once, eat well, and walk over without the stress of finding another spot closer to the stadium.

Our kitchen moves fast during game days. We know you're on a schedule, so our team prioritizes getting hot food out quickly without sacrificing quality. From crispy chicken wings to loaded burgers, everything is made to order but designed to get you fed and out the door in time for the national anthem.

Plus, our sports-bar setup means you're already in game mode. Multiple screens, cold drinks, and an energetic crowd set the tone before you even get to your seats.

Wings are the move. Our signature wings come in 6, 10, 20, 30, or 40-piece orders, and every single one is golden-fried and tossed in your choice of 17 house-made sauces. Buffalo, Nashville Hot, Asian Chili, Pineapple Habanero BBQ, or Ghost Fire if you're brave. Each order comes with celery, carrots, and ranch for dipping.

If you want something handheld, go for the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich: two crispy fried chicken tenders tossed in Nashville hot sauce, topped with dill pickles and creamy garlic habanero sauce on a toasted brioche bun. It's served with fries, so you're getting a full meal that won't slow you down.

Burgers are another solid call. Our Bacon Cheese Burger features a hefty gourmet charbroiled angus patty with applewood bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, and mayo on a brioche bun. Every burger is hand-prepared and comes with french fries.

For groups, the Kocky's Load Sampler Platter brings variety: four loaded potato skins, four mozzarella sticks, four signature wings, and a haystack of seasoned fries topped with melted cheese and bacon. Everyone gets to try something different without the debate.

Most Grizzlies games start around 7 PM, which means you'll want to arrive at Kocky's by 5:30 or 6 PM to eat comfortably and still make it to the park with time to spare. We're open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 8 PM, and Friday from 11 AM to 10 PM, so weeknight and Friday games are covered.

If there's a Saturday game, we open at 2 PM and stay open until 10 PM. Sunday games are trickier since our hours are 11 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM for brunch seatings, so double-check the game schedule if you're planning a Sunday visit.

During happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM, you can take advantage of bar-only specials. On Fridays, happy hour extends until 7:30 PM with TGIF specials, giving you even more time to enjoy deals before the game.
